We're winding down our time of Lent, and in keeping with the challenge I'm posting a photo based on the word "Breath." Well a few pictures today actually.
When is you breath taken away? What are those things that make reflexively gasp, and let's narrow that down to the things that are good.
I tried looking for something to capture that awe today. I'm not completely satisfied, but I came close with a few of these.
Breath - breathing becomes a little easier when you relax. Sand, beach, plants, rocks and a distant architecture calm me.
Sometimes taking time to just stop, sit, listen, smell and looking can open your lungs.
This was pretty close to a gasp today - having an Osprey coming in low and fly overhead
There's not a photo of the last item. It was the Maundy Thursday Service this evening. A reflection of what Christ was preparing to do at the Last Supper. His simple, yet so very strong, demonstration of love by washing his friends feet. We had the opportunity to have our Pastors do that for us. It's powerful, and yes, it may very well shorten the depth of your breath, knowing that tomorrow He will take his last for us.
Blessings,
Brian
